SpaceX
Space Exploration Technologies Corp., trading as SpaceX, designs and flies orbital launch vehicles and spacecraft. Founded in 2002 and privately held, it builds the Falcon family of rockets, the Dragon capsule used to carry crew and cargo to the International
Its commercial weight comes from two places. Launch services are sold to government agencies, satellite operators and other private customers, and reusable first stages changed the economics of that market. Starlink, its satellite internet constellation, sells connectivity directly to consumers and to enterprise and maritime customers, which gives the company a recurring revenue line alongside launch contracts.
SpaceX is the company Brimco covers most often. Satellite internet is a live question for connectivity across Africa, where terrestrial infrastructure is uneven and expensive to extend, and launch capacity shapes what any national or regional space programme can realistically plan.
